Good to know
The Maldives are on UTC+5: four hours ahead of Central Europe, three during European summer time. Breakfast is from 07:00 to 09:30 (from 05:00 there is a small one for early boats), lunch from 12:00 to 14:00, dinner from 18:00 to 20:00.

What time is check-out?
At 11:00. If our bookings allow, you can keep your room longer – just ask at reception.
How can I pay on site?
In cash, in euros or US dollars. We take credit cards too, with a 3.5 % fee.
Can I drink the tap water?
No, the tap water is not drinking water. At the water stations at reception and on the first floor you refill your bottles for free. Tea, Nescafé and water are included for your whole stay; all other drinks cost extra.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes, free, in every room.
Do I need a travel adapter?
We have 220 volts. If your plug does not fit, ask at reception for an adapter.
Is there a safe in the room?
Yes, every room has its own safe, and our team will show you how it works. We are sorry that we cannot be liable for lost or forgotten items.
Can I get my laundry done?
Yes, we do your laundry. Let our team know, especially if you need it back quickly.
Are there loungers and sun umbrellas?
Yes. Tell us when you want to go to the beach, and we will bring you loungers, cushions and an umbrella. When you are done, please bring the cushions and the umbrella back and let reception know, so the loungers can come in too. There are separate towels for the beach – please don’t take the bathroom ones.
What should I wear in the village?
In the house, whatever you like. In the village the island’s rules apply: shoulders and stomach covered, trousers, skirts or dresses at least to the knee, nothing see-through and no low necklines. On the Bikini Beach in front of the house a bikini is fine. Topless sunbathing is not allowed anywhere in the Maldives.
Can I smoke in my room?
No, all rooms are non-smoking. If someone smokes anyway, we charge €200 for the cleaning.
How do I get back to the airport?
Tell reception at least 24 hours before you leave when your flight is, and we arrange the transfer. If you leave very early, talk to our team: there will be a small breakfast before you go.
What if I get hurt?
Tell us straight away about a minor injury, and we will take you to the health centre if needed. Report a dive accident to us immediately; we then arrange the transfer to the nearest decompression chamber.
